Well Thursday arrived and so did the weekend warriors. Oh so true, once the glass shattered (anyone?) on the weekend warriors, well yeah. TOOOTALLY get it! So in comes the parade. It’s funny, through the week we see the same people, and sometimes I wonder what their story is, why are they here. For instance the very nice couple beside us, from California, have been here as long as we have. Equally they probably see us toting box of this or box from amazon or a bit of that and wonder, what the hell do the people do? Anyway, they are nice enough, we speak when outside at the same time, but sometimes I wonder what the story is, and then I remember, I’m pretty much an introvert in extraverts clothing… 🙂
So where were we… so when last we met up, we were just getting our car back! So you are likely wondering does this story have a happy ending… Well not really. But it has an ending we can live with. So lets break it down.
- Does everything work? Nope.
- Can we live with it? Yup.
I am guessing the next question would be… do we like it. Yeah, we really do. It’s actually a really nice car. So if you haven’t had a chance to see that post, check down below. Anyway. Other than the auto start/stop function not working everything else seems okay. And lets take stock in reality, hardly any manufacturer can even get the components for auto start/stop, so what did we really lose? The end result was a bad relay, likely due to the first primary battery shorting out. So back on the road we go, just in time!
Friday marks our first ”work on our home” day for us since becoming unexpected full-timers. We will pack out the kids in the morning, into a new (cat) kennel, in the back of the Jeep. Should be fun spending 5(ish) hours in the car with the cats screaming at us. But such is the things you do when your home has wheels, and you need some repairs, like our busted windshield on Walter. Biggest windshield in the industry, and when it goes…. oh boy!
I am sure tomorrow will be and adventure, and something we will share soon, as we prepare to move our home on wheels to another state! Until the next time…
